Job Overview – Demolition Estimator:

Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000/year + bonus

Location: Chester County, PA

Our client is hiring a Demolition Estimator in Chester County, PA to lead bid preparation, project estimating, and cost analysis for commercial and industrial demolition projects. This on-site role is ideal for experienced professionals with expertise in demolition estimating and takeoffs. You’ll develop detailed cost estimates, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and help drive profitability across complex projects.

Responsibilities as the Demolition Estimator:

• Estimating & Takeoffs: Prepare detailed demolition cost estimates from plans, site conditions, and client requirements.
• Bid Management: Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals aligned with project specifications.
• Scope & Risk Analysis: Review project scope, assess risks, and identify cost-saving opportunities in collaboration with project teams.
• Vendor Coordination: Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing, and evaluate material and labor costs.
• Preconstruction & Documentation: Attend site visits, refine project scopes, and maintain accurate estimate records for future use.

Qualifications for the Demolition Estimator:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of demolition estimating experience with a proven track record on commercial and industrial projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in estimating software (such as Bluebeam, Procore, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Skills & Attributes: Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong communication skills and the ability to deliver accurate, competitive estimates in a fast-paced environment.
