Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Junior Python Developer to join one of our largest financial clients in Jersey City, New Jersey. This individual will be joining the Prime Brokerage team under Global Markets Technology. They will be working in pricing and risk libraries. These applications measure portfolio risk, capture VAR, and build reference trees. The team uses a SQL database, so the ability to query in SQL is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concurrency and multiprocessing techniques in Python. Code reviews, bug fixes, and process improvements are part of the role's responsibilities.

Required Skills & Experience

5-7 years of experience as a python developer
Background in pricing and risk libraries (front office trading, market risk, credit risk)
Experience with SQL database
Multiprocessing and concurrency experience
Great oral and written communication
