Position: SMT Operator

Role: Full Time in Person

Location: 1800 N American St, Philadelphia, PA

Compensation: $25-$30 per hour, 15 days PTO, shares in equity plan and benefits

About US

FlashPCB is a US-based rapid PCB prototyping service. We are using AI and smart software to eliminate the traditional setup and quoting time in the PCB manufacturing process. We provide instant checkout of assembled PCBs with very short lead time. 

What You’ll Do

We are looking for a hard working, diligent, goal oriented and ambitious operator to run our SMT line. You will ensure on time delivery of high quality PCBs to our customers. You will operate a high speed SMT line with 2 Hanwha Pick and Place Machines, an ESE Stencil Printer, Heller Reflow Oven and Pemtron AOI Machine. You will make suggestions to our software team on ways to improve setup time, operating time and methods to reduce human error.

Responsibilities:

  • Setup, Programming and Operation of automated SMT line
  • Investigates production problems and recommends possible solutions
  • Load feeders and maintain inventory of consumable items
  • Maintain a safe work environment 

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Experience with SMT processes, reflow ovens, pick-and-place, and inspection techniques
  • Experience with CNC programing or automated equipment setup.
  • Proven work ethic with a get the job done mentality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IPC-610 and J-STD-001 certifications within the last 5 years
  • 2-5 years of experience in a PCBA manufacturing facility
  • 1-3 years of experience operating and programming SMT Pick and Place machines
  • Experience with OLTP or Hanwha Pick and Place machines
  • Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production environment
  • Experience with ISO 9001, ITAR, AOI or X-ray inspection
