Job Description

Our client, an Elite global law firm consistently on Best Places to Work lists, is seeking a Corporate Legal Assistant for their San Francisco location. This role involves coordinating the daily activities and providing the highest level of administrative support to 3 transactional/corporate partners.

This firm is also known for doing some incredible pro-bono work on behalf of immigrants, criminal justice reform, defense of survivors of domestic violence, and recently those suffering from the Los Angeles fires.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing executive support to 3 partners in the transactional practice group.
  • Collaborating closely with assigned partners to effectively manage day-to-day coordination of the partner’s respective practices.
  • Managing a broad range of complex administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports and meeting materials, entering time, editing documents, furnishing information, responding to routine correspondence, assisting with technical support, processing expense reports, and answering telephone calls.
  • Managing client onboarding, billing, and relationship management activities.
  • Organizing complex domestic/international travel arrangements, with detailed itineraries both personal and professional. Coordinate flights, hotel accommodations, car service, visas, dining reservations, etc.
  • Providing back-up support to peers and liaising with other firm departments and key stakeholders to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of legal support experience in a corporate/transactional practice of a law firm.
  • Technologically savvy, strong attention to detail, ability to take initiative and anticipate needs.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills and experience redlining legal documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface well with clients and internal staff.
  • Bachelor degree is preferred.

The schedule is hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days WFH.

Salary is $120,000 - $130,000, plus generous annual bonus and excellent benefits including 4 weeks vacation in your first year.
