Job Description

Jacuzzi Group, a premier manufacturer of innovative hot tubs, swim spas, baths, showers, and other wellness products, is seeking a dedicated Yard Jockey / Driver to manage the movement of trailers in and out of our facility in Valdosta, Georgia. Your role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of operations and ensuring that our logistics run smoothly.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely maneuver and park trailers from one building to another using a semi tractor/trailer shuttle truck.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and safety checks on trucks as required.
• Document all trailer movements and maintain accurate records.
• Supports distribution and assist in loading and unloading materials as necessary.
• Work closely with warehouse staff and other team members to ensure timely moved.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team leads.
• Performs other tasks as required by Leads or Supervisors
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shifts, with occasional overtime as needed.

Compensation is based on experience: $18.00 +

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and DOT Card are required at all times
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a yard driver or in a similar role.
• Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety.
• Ability to operate yard trucks and associated equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100+ lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
• Consistently meet Jacuzzi expectations regarding attendance, teamwork, and attitude
