Job Description

Embree Construction Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction project, from scheduling to managing resources and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards..

Must have a clean driving record and ability to travel nationwide

Responsibilities:

Oversee the construction project, including scheduling, budgeting, and managing resources

Ensure that all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers

Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations

Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and contractors

Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design and code requirements

Identify and resolve construction issues in a timely and efficient manner

Provide progress reports and updates to management

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications

Experience with construction management software and tools

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Forklift Operator certificate preferred

Hand-eye coordination and the ability to see well, naturally or with correction, is necessary to operate drafting instruments, computers and various pieces of office equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability of pulling and pushing objects up to 50 pounds is required on a job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time. The employee is regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and smell. Embree Group
