Job Description

We are actively seeking a Swimming pool vinyl liner installer to join our team. This person should have previous experience with measuring and installing viny liners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in pool cleaning, maintenance and equipment installation. This role involves ensuring that residential and or commercial pools are clean, safe, and functioning properly. The Pool Technician will work independently, utilizing hand tools and power tools to perform various maintenance tasks. Pay is based on experience. This position is seasonal. (April-Oct)

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment installation, diagnostics and repairs.
• Comfortable with automation systems and timers.
• Safety cover measurement and installations.
• Liner Measurements and installations
• Basic pool plumbing, electrical and general construction.
• Evaluating and repairing mechanical issues with all pool equipment (heaters, filters, motor, pumps etc.)
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pool care practices.
• Document service visits and maintain records of work performed on each pool on a tablet.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks.
• Must be able to work independently or on a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role related to pool maintenance for a minimum of 2-3 years.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and maintenance procedures.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and providing exceptional service.
• Valid & clean driver's license.
