Job Description
Software QA Tester - Automation
(Cherry Hill, NJ) Understand product roadmap & product specs. for the right test strategy; Write tests (functional, integration, system, performance, scalability, resource leaks; provide feedback from stakeholders & dev owners; test architecture/design, development, maintenance of test frameworks; assess quality risks of complex solutions & build test strategy to mitigate risks; drive root-cause analysis & implement corrective actions; research emerging test tools, trends & methodologies; understand user requirements, specifications & design documents; prepare test automation scripts; report defects & release day checkout; review business reqs.; develop quality assurance metrics such as defect counts. Relocation/telecommute may be needed + travel within the US for short & long term assignments. Tools: 3 or more of the following tools shall be utilized: jUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, ReadyAPI, Rest Assured, Java, SQL, Oracle. Edu: MSc in Comp. Sci./Comp. Apps/ Engg. (Electrical/Elect./Comp./Mech.) or will accept BSc. in Comp. Sci./Comp. Apps/ Engg. (Electrical/Elect./Comp./Mech.) + 5 yrs prog. exp. in related fields in lieu of MSc. For. Edu. accepted.
