Position: - Senior IBM DataPower -IBM API Connect APIC Developer

Location: - Torrance, CA (Hybrid)

Job Description

• Experience in computer engineering Information Systems or a relevant technical field and work related experience
• 8 years of experience in Banking or Captive Finance areas technology implementation and delivering integrations for the business must have 5 years of experience in designing and implementing DataPower and APIC solutions in the large environment
• Proficient in industry standard message formats like RESTJSON XML WSDL Web Services SOAP XSL XPATH CSV EDI and various protocols like MQ FTPSFTP
• Experience in integrating with Salesforce Loan Originations System Servicing System 3rd party Payment Gateway and Fraud solutions is preferred
• Experience in designing and deploying integration solutions to Cloud based providers on AWS platforms using IBM DataPower and APIC
• Experience with cloud based distributed application architectures and integrating container platforms with automated CICD pipelines
• Experience in enabling the cloud components to interact with on Prem applications
• Experience in the Development of APIs in DataPower and APIC environments such as creating APIs products publishing enabling authentication
• Experience in writing Gateway Script XSLT
• Experience in setting up development portals creating rate limits and plans
• Experience in API security like basic authentication OAUTH and certificate based authentication
• Configure Mutual Authentication mechanism by creating Identification Credentials and Validation
• credentials to validate the server certificates
• Ability to create REST and SOAP APIs with validations and transformations in APIC Assembly
• Knowledge of concepts and implementation of these on DataPower and APIC JWT Bearer Basic AUTH
• Integration with LDAP and troubleshooting
• WTX COBOL Copybook XML XSL Gateway scripting
• Networking concepts and integration with AWS concepts like VPC NLB etc
• Good Hands on for creation of an analytics dashboard for APIC
• Experience in configuring applications on DataPower and APIC V10
• Experience on OpenShift Container Platform
• Experience in implementation of deployment configuration on OCP
• Knowledge of building ingress and Egress Network policies on OCP
• Experience with AWS S3 integration

Nice to have IBM Cloudpak for Integration Skills

• Excellent Production Support and Troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to partner with stakeholders inside and outside of IT vendors and other external entities
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and execute workload to deliver high quality results
