The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing and managing the compliance function, ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory standards. This key role involves working closely with global affiliates, developing and maintaining knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, and advising internal stakeholders on compliance matters. The Chief Compliance Officer will also be responsible for reviewing and strengthening internal controls, managing the compliance team, and implementing necessary enhancements to the global compliance program. Applicants for the Chief Compliance Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in law, business, finance, or a related field, with a Master's or JD preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related field, with a significant background in a leadership role, is required. The role demands a professional with native Japanese and fluent English language skills, and experience in managing teams and large projects, as well as knowledge of securities laws and highly regulated environments, is preferred.
