Facility: Sanford Med Ctr Fargo

Location: Fargo, ND

Shift: 10 Hours - Day Shifts

Job Schedule: Full time

Weekly Hours: 40.00

Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00

Department Details

Our Endoscopy department specializes in gastroenterological and pulmonary diseases, providing diagnostic and screening services for GI and pulmonary procedures. With 10 procedure rooms and 12 prep/recovery bays, we perform around 60 cases daily, averaging 1300 cases monthly. Our dedicated GI team is on call 24/7 to support both emergent and non-emergent inpatient cases.

Schedule Highlights

• 10-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• One late stay per week
• Every 5th or 6th weekend call schedule
• ONE holiday each year

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions
• Collaborate with colleagues, including physicians, to implement and evaluate care
• Provide empathetic care for patients throughout all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Demonstrate competency and utilize comprehensive nursing expertise

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A degree from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• An unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• The ability to obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
