About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Valuations to lead and expand its Valuation Consulting practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and managing the practice, developing an area of expertise, and overseeing and performing consulting engagements. This role also involves significant business development activities, including assisting with proposals, and the development of marketing materials, and participating in firm-wide marketing and sales programs. The Head of Valuations will be expected to collaborate with other offices and industry groups, attend industry trade shows and conferences, and contribute to the development of training programs. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, with an MBA or Master's in Business Valuations preferred. A CPA, CFA, or ASA designation is required, and private equity industry experience is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' related experience, including a proven track record in business development, project delivery, and practice development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, as are exceptional client service, communication, and interpersonal skills. The role demands a self-directed professional with strong time management and organizational abilities, and the capacity to travel as needed.
