We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team on a part-time or internship basis, with the potential to transition to full-time employment based on performance. This role an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance, assisting in managing and tracking incoming payments.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor overdue accounts and assist with follow-up communications.
• Initiate collection activities, such as sending reminder notices, emails, or making phone calls.
• Reconcile discrepancies in accounts and resolve billing or payment disputes.
• Assist in maintaining accurate customer account records.
• Prepare reports on accounts receivable aging and outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end processes.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues.

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with QuickBooks Online strongly preferred
• Degree or equivalent experience in accounting/accounts receivable preferred
