About the Role:
As a Licensed Health Insurance Agent, you'll support individuals exploring health insurance options. You'll provide consultative guidance over the phone, assess needs, explain plan benefits, and ensure accurate and compliant enrollments. This role is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, people-focused, and thrive in performance-driven environments.
Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls from individuals seeking health insurance information and support
Assess consumer needs and recommend appropriate plan options
Educate consumers on plan benefits, features, and coverage details
Make outbound calls as needed to follow up with prospects or provide additional plan information
Provide clear, objective guidance to help individuals make informed decisions
Complete compliant enrollments into the appropriate health insurance plans
Meet performance metrics, including sales goals, quality standards, and attendance
Maintain active licensure and complete required certifications and training
Follow all compliance guidelines and client-specific procedures
Qualifications
Active Health Insurance License in your state of residence
Ability to obtain additional state licenses if required (fees covered by BroadPath)
High School Diploma or equivalent
6+ months of experience in a call center or structured work setting
6+ months of sales experience
Comfortable navigating multiple systems and applications simultaneously
Skilled at explaining complex plan details in a clear, easy-to-understand manner
Able to manage multiple products and benefit levels with attention to detail
Strong focus and consistency, even in repetitive or high-volume tasks
