Job Description

A private family moving to West Chelsea, NY (from Tribeca, NY), is looking to hire an experienced and reliable Full-time, Live Out Nanny to join their family around March 1, 2025, or potentially sooner for the right fit! Someone who will work as a Team with the other Long Term Nanny who is a Live IN and not only be a caretaker but also a valued part of their family, creating a harmonious and supportive environment for their children. This role requires someone who is organized, flexible, and adept at managing the needs of children across a range of ages. Looking for a team player who is willing to support the dynamic needs of their children and family. Must have flexibility to be available 5-6 days a week, with some weekends required in Hamptons, Off season, 2 weekends per month typically and Summers in Hamptons, July 1- End of August 2025.

About the Family
Adults: 2
Children: (B) 4 months, has a NCS for another 2 months) (G) 2, in school 3 days/week for 4 hrs, (G) 5 Kindergarten, next year Full day
Current Staff: 2 full time nannies, 1 Nanny will remain as a Full-Time Live-In, and the new hire will be a Live-Out only, except when in the Hamptons.


Responsibilities:
-Provide attentive and nurturing care for children of varying ages.
-Ensure a safe, stimulating, and structured environment for the children.
-Communicate effectively and coordinate activities, schedules, and routines with parents and the other nanny.
-Organize and manage children's schedules, including school pick-ups/drop-offs, extracurricular activities, playdates, and appointments.
-Assist with light housekeeping related to the children (e.g., tidying up toys,
-Meal prep.
-Children's laundry.
-Assist with errands as needed, Grocery Shopping


Requirements:
Schedule: Available 5-6 days a week, with some weekend availability required. Hamptons, Off season, 2 weekends per month typically Summer in Hamptons, July 1- End of August 2025

Work Hours: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Travel Flexibility: Available to travel with the family to the Hamptons on weekends and other trips as needed. In Hamptons, private bedroom/private bathroom.

Experience: Skilled in managing children of various ages with the ability to adapt to their developmental needs, including potty-training assistance.

Driving Skills: Must be a confident driver with a valid driver's license.

Communication & Organization: Strong skills in communicating with parents and the other nanny, as well as organizing schedules and activities.

Languages: English, Tagalog a PLUS!

Minimum of 2 References
Background check upon a contingent offer of hire


Requested Duration: 5+ years



Position Compensation
Salary: $36-$40 Through Payroll, $100-120K-commensurate with experience

Health Insurance: Yes, Capped at $800. month Household Staffing
