Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician (Contract to Hire) to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. You will work closely with our operations team to identify and resolve issues, and provide exceptional support to our employees and facilities.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep on equipment, machinery, and facilities
• Identify and resolve issues with equipment, systems, and infrastructure
• Conduct preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and energy management to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
• Collaborate with operations team to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules
• Work with contractors and vendors to complete projects and repairs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and repair history
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, management, and external stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies

Maintenance Technician Position Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or in a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
• Physical ability to perform tasks in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
