**Job Description:**
H&E Equipment Services, a leading integrated equipment dealership in the nation, has an immediate opening for dynamic, customer service-oriented individual to fill the position of **Learning Specialist** at our corporate office in Baton Rouge, LA.
Under the general direction of a Director of Sales and Management Training, specialist will provide support and management for assigned training projects and tasks within H&E's Learning and Development department. The Learning Specialist will report to the Training Manager and will support Sales and Customer Service related programs as well as Learning and Development initiatives for operations and other areas of the business as needed. While the Specialist will support traditional learning initiatives (e.g. classroom or eLearning course design), projects will often revolve around performance support (job aids, screencast tutorials) and other micro-learning initiatives (video, podcast, blog, etc.). Projects may range from design and development of online and classroom materials to web content management to some LMS administration to survey creation, analysis, and reporting. The Specialist may serve as an internal SME on certain technology platforms.
**Job Requirements: Qualifications**
- Design and development of original training content such as smaller scale e-Learning courseware, classroom content, job-aids, and video tutorials
- Editing and maintaining existing e-Learning course content
- Sourcing and cultivating online content from myriad sources
- Publishing of online content using a content management system such as SharePoint
- Creation and maintenance of web-based content/knowledge portals
- Delivery of short, basic web-based conference sessions to virtual audiences
- Administration of webinar applications (e.g. WebEx)
- Drafting of internal communications materials related to employee awareness of learning opportunities
- Survey creation, analysis, and reporting
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Using rapid design tools, specifically Articulate Storyline and/or Studio
- Experience with content management systems such as SharePoint
- Experience with basic elements of LMS administration
- Sales experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
