Spa Soak is a woman-owned day spa that has accumulated a loyal client base from 17 years of results-driven skincare and bodywork by a talented staff. The Spa was recently acquired by a long-term employee , who is dedicated to expanding the team and advancing the business towards a leading edge spa in Chicago. The building is a beautifully reclaimed space that is nestled along the hustle and bustle of Milwaukee Avenue located right in the heart of Chicago’s thriving Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhood. The interior features exposed brick and wood floors to encapsulate the earthy, healing + holistic atmosphere that is the overall essence of Spa Soak.
We are looking to add a Licensed Esthetician to an exceptional team here at Spa Soak. We would prefer someone who is dual licensed for Massage Therapy or Nails. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable on holistic wellness and passionate about clean + natural skincare. Being a team-player is an integral part to how we thrive in our cooperative and growing space.
The position is open for part hours with morning and/or afternoon shifts. Saturday and every other Sunday availability is essential as we consistently experience fully booked weekends. The Spa offers a flexible schedule, competitive wages, W-2 and a friendly + supportive work environment. We prefer someone with at least 2 years experience and knowledge of Bioelements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be licensed
- Upkeep a professional demeanor and timeliness
- Great communication skills: Able to deliver personalized recommendations
- Bonus points: dual license for Massage Therapy or Nail Technician
