Legal E-Billing Specialist


A great litigation firm is seeking a Legal E-Billing Specialist to join their team! This role offers excellent growth potential and the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment. • Coordinate e-billing submissions from LexisNexis Juris software to multiple e-billing portals
• Resolve rejections
• Review billing guidelines
• Follow up on Accounts Receivables
• E-billing appeals
• Communicate with clients and firm personnel as needed
• Monitor the billing email group and respond to inquiries from both internal and external requestors
• Resolve billing-related issues from internal and external clients
• Cross-train for backup for deposit entry, new client matter setup, and running conflict checks
• Perform other tasks as required to support billing and the Controller

Legal E-Billing Specialist Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of e-billing experience with ledes files in a law firm is REQUIRED
• Insurance defense / medical malpractice e-billing experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Juris software is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills highly preferred
• Impeccable accuracy and high attention to detail are essential
• Ability to communicate effectively, courteously, and professionally with attorneys, staff, and clients while maintaining confidentiality
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and execute effectively in a deadline-driven industry
• Superior internal and external customer service skills
