Position Overview:

• Will work diligently to keep all plant material healthy and ready for sale
• Maintain and display products in an inviting way that enhances their appeal to customers.
• Bring a solid understanding of horticultural practices to the team.
• Will embrace Country Farms Vision, Mission and Core Values. 

Essential Responsibilities 

• Maintains, organizes and displays merchandise in a way to improve our ability to sell product and continually studies ways to enhance and improve our ability to sell product.
• Lead and mentor Garden Center staff, fostering a positive and productive environment.
• Routinely interacts with customers, providing friendly and helpful service.
• Answers questions customers may have or finds the answer and reports back to customer quickly.
• Stay on top of necessary paperwork and ensure all plant orders are accurately handled for Country Farms installation projects.
• Studies market and industry trends and new plant choices making sure out customers receive the best service and plant selection available. 
• Keep leadership informed with updates and recommendations on Garden Center status or customer concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize rework, warranty issues, and maintain the highest quality standards.
• Embrace teamwork and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Communicate well and effectively.
• Maintain clean and safe environment.
• Expects to work 40 to 60 hours per work week, depending on seasonal needs.

Employees work together and support each other to complete each project and help the garden center and supply yard flourish.
