LEGAL BILLING COORDINATOR
Job Description:
* Prepare monthly and ad hoc client invoices for attorney review and approval, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Edit, finalize, and submit client invoices in compliance with billing guidelines.
* Monitor and adhere to client billing guidelines, updating management on changes.
* Respond to requests for accurate client information from attorneys and legal assistants.
* Work closely with management to address changes in client billing guidelines, invoice status, or electronic billing updates.
* Handle all e-billing issues, including reductions, rejections, and requests for accruals and budgets.
* Pull electronic expense backup when needed.
* Identify and correct payment inconsistencies and errors in financial statements.
* Follow up on outstanding payments and reconcile account discrepancies.
* Provide client support by answering billing-related questions and resolving issues.
* Support all initiatives to meet periodic billing targets and achieve firm objectives.
