As the Center Director, you will oversee the daily operations of our early learning center, ensuring the highest standards in care, education, staff development, and family satisfaction. You’ll lead with vision, support with empathy, and manage with professionalism.

Duties

• Establish and maintain a quality vision for the center in alignment with state, local, and Kiddie Academy standards.
• Develop curriculum frameworks and collaborate with teaching staff on engaging learning activities.
• Ensure adherence to licensing, accreditation, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and enrollment documentation.
• Communicate effectively with families through meetings, newsletters, handbooks, and daily interactions.
• Oversee community engagement and outreach to promote a positive image of the academy.
• Approve food menus and monitor food-related purchases.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure full legal and financial compliance.
• Supervise office operations including payroll, billing, HR, purchasing, and tuition processing.
• Resolve conflicts promptly and professionally, using corrective action when necessary.
• Manage and monitor budget planning and execution.
• Ensure the implementation of illness and emergency protocols and provide training to staff.
• Lead the center in alignment with the strategic goals and mission of Kiddie Academy.
• Maintain an active professional development plan to support continuous growth and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a licensed early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and classroom dynamics.
• Thorough knowledge of state licensing and accreditation standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• High energy, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for early education.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; proficiency with technology.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with curriculum planning or implementation.
• Familiarity with Procare or other child care management software.
