Operations Director – Metal Fabrication & Manufacturing

Philadelphia, PA (Commutable from: Norristown, Lidenwold, Marple, Warrington, Trenton, Warrington)

$120,000 – $150,000 + New Industry Training + Annual Bonus + Profit Sharing + Excellent Benefits Package

They have recently acquired the adjacent property to their current facility and are preparing for significant expansion of their manufacturing capabilities in the near future.

In this position, you will manage a team of 30 production staff and 4 supervisors. Your responsibilities will include driving continuous improvement, implementing lean manufacturing strategies, leading cost-saving initiatives across the plant, and overseeing the planning, scheduling, and purchasing departments. This is a varied role with a balance between office-based tasks and time spent on the manufacturing shop floor.

This role would suit an Operations Director with a strong fabrication and manufacturing background, eager to leave their mark on a respected business and step into a technically advanced, evolving industry.

The Role:

• Oversee several supervisors and 30+ hour employees.
• Track department KPI statistics, drive continuous improvements and develop lean manufacturing processes.
• Monday – Friday, day shift. Split between the office and shop floor.

• Operations / Manufacturing / Production Director
• Metal fabrication manufacturing experience is essential.
