We are seeking a dedicated and passionate CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals. Our ideal candidate is someone who is not only technically proficient but also has a deep commitment to patient care and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
2. Perform CT scans following established protocols and procedures.
3. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and answering any questions.
4. Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate CT scans and determine if additional images are required.
5. Adhere to radiation safety measures and guidelines to protect both patients and staff.
6. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all procedures and test results.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current trends and advancements in CT technology.
8. Provide technical assistance and training to junior staff and students as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Completion of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or an equivalent body.
2. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
4. Excellent technical skills with the ability to operate and troubleshoot CT equipment.
5. Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and protocols.
6. Exceptional patient care skills with the ability to explain complex procedures in a clear and compassionate manner.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
9. Current CPR certification is a plus.
