About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to establish and lead its global compliance and licensing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the compliant acquisition of licenses in various global jurisdictions, including the EU, the US, Dubai, and the British Virgin Islands/Cayman Islands. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure the company's position as a leader in regulatory compliance. The CCO will also be tasked with designing and implementing robust compliance policies, including AML, KYC, and KYB procedures, and developing internal compliance structures and policies. Additionally, the CCO will support and advise the company's founders on all compliance, risk management, and licensing matters. Applicants for the CCO position at the company should have a proven track record in compliance and licensing, with experience in global regulatory environments. The role requires the ability to build and lead a high-performing compliance team, as well as to design and implement best-in-class compliance policies. A strong understanding of AML, KYC, and KYB procedures is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders. A background in law, finance, or a related field, and relevant certifications in compliance and risk management, are also necessary.
