Job Description

Overview: Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Audio Visual Systems Engineer on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission. The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally. Responsibilities: Designs and implements AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, and presentation systems Installs, configures, and maintains AV equipment such as projectors, displays, sound systems, and control systems Troubleshoots and resolves complex AV issues in a timely manner Manages AV network infrastructure and ensure integration with existing IT systems Plans and executes AV system upgrades and migrations Provides training to end-users on AV equipment operation and best practices Develops and maintains documentation for AV system configurations and processes Collaborates with IT teams to ensure AV systems align with overall technology strategy Manages inventory of AV equipment and coordinate with vendors for procurement and maintenance Ensures AV systems comply with security protocols and accessibility standards Stays current with emerging AV technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems Qualifications: Clearance Required: TS/SCI with eligibility to obtain CI Poly Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in AV systems design, installation, and maintenance Required Certifications: Security+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire Required Skills: Experience with AV network protocols and IP-based AV systems Proficiency in AV system design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio) Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex AV issues Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support for critical AV systems Desired Skills: CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification Experience with Crestron, Extron, or AMX control systems Knowledge of acoustics and audio system design Familiarity with HDCP, EDID, and other video standards Experience with digital signal processors (DSPs) and audio networking protocols Understanding of AV over IP technologies Familiarity with AV security best practices and compliance requirements Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds Comfort with working at heights (e.g., on ladders or lifts) for equipment installation About Abile Group, Inc.: Abile Group, Inc. was formed in July 2004 to partner with the Intelligence Community and their Contractors in the areas of Enterprise Analytics & Performance Management, IT & Systems Engineering and Program & Project Management.
