This role may be based in Washington DC, NYC, Chicago, or Houston.
We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented, business-minded professional with creativity, initiative and eagerness to take on new challenges to support our crisis and security consulting teams.
This position is for a fee-earning consultant who will support clients and other team members across a broad range of security and resilience projects, including security risk management, risk assessments and security reviews, as well as program assessment, design and implementation across security, business continuity, crisis management, emergency response, disaster recovery and insider risk.
This is a unique opportunity for candidates at an early stage of their career to contribute to impactful projects, expand their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience across the entire breadth of crisis and security risk management.
Tasks and responsibilities
Work as a member of consulting project teams, with guidance from senior team members, to assist with business development activities and deliver security, business continuity, crisis management, emergency response, product recall, and insider risk solutions, including:
Supporting projects as a fee-earning consultant (e.g., assessing program maturity, conducting risk assessments, designing crisis management exercises, supporting business continuity reviews, and developing program governance/policy)
Working with clients (e.g., educating client staff, presenting findings, working with client teams at all levels to implement solutions)
Scoping and writing proposals for client engagements
Co-authoring thought leadership and conducting research
The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
