About the Role

The Company is seeking purpose-driven individuals to join its Advisory Board. The ideal candidates will have a strong passion for the mission, with a background in marketing, mental health, lived experience in the foster care system, or legislative and policy work. Board members play a critical role in supporting the organization's growth and impact, particularly in the areas of child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice. Responsibilities include being an inspirational champion for the company, assisting in fundraising, building awareness and support, and providing insight into the local human services and government landscape. Board members are also expected to engage with the company's programs, recruit new local board members, and work with the Executive Director on strategic planning and implementation. Candidates for the Advisory Board should be strategic thinkers, empathetic leaders, and possess exceptional communication and listening skills. A collaborative, creative, and innovative approach is essential, as is a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role requires a three-year commitment, with the opportunity for renewal, and the ability to make the company one of their top philanthropic commitments. Board members must have the highest integrity, engender trust, and be able to motivate and influence others. The position is not just a goal but a commitment to transforming lives, and the successful candidates will be expected to treat all company business and information as confidential and proprietary.
