Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Owensboro, KY, 42303. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process, utilizing your welding and fabrication skills to create high-quality products.

-This is a great opportunity to join a premier fabrication in the Owensboro area. We are looking for proven flux core welding experience and familiarty with multple types of blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, Flux-Core
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in welding or fabrication is a plus.
• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proven Flux-Core welding experience
• Proficient in various welding methods and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a welding environment.

Salary info:

$24 - $28 / hr
