Warehouse Associate / Cherry Picker Operator 1st shift / Mon-Thur / 8am - 5pm $18.50/hour Greenville, SC

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Associate / Cherry Picker Operator on behalf of our client in the Pelham Road area of Greenville, SC.

The Warehouse Associate / Cherry Picker Operator will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of all warehouse functions, from picking and packing orders to managing inventory and maintaining a clean workspace. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively to meet daily goals.

Warehouse Associate / Cherry Picker Operator Responsibilities include:

• Operate warehouse machinery, including a cherry picker, forklift, industrial shrink-wrap, and order picking machines
• Pick and prepare customer orders for shipping
• Count and compare physical inventory to customer orders, reconciling any discrepancies
• Unload incoming merchandise from trucks and place it in the correct stock or overstock locations
• Update and maintain accurate records of returns in our accounting software (FM)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by performing daily cleaning tasks
• Assist with general maintenance and other duties as assigned

Warehouse Associate / Cherry Picker Operator Requirements include:

• 2 years or more of proven cherry picker operating
• 3 years or more of proven warehouse experience
• Proficiency with accounting software is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience operating a cherry picker lift, forklift, industrial shrink-wrap, and order picking machines
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach on a daily basis
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to use a computer, printer, fax machine, telephone, and copier
