Our culture is fast-paced, data-driven, and deeply customer-obsessed—and we’re just getting started.Role OverviewIn this role, you'll be editing a wide range of creative video content to advertise Carpe on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and sometimes even national TV campaigns. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience editing vertical short-form content for our paid social ads and horizontal content for platforms like YouTube and TV. You will work closely with the Senior Video Editor, the Head of Creative R&D, and the rest of the Carpe creative team to review the performance of the ads to optimize the creative for engagement, click-through, and conversion.What You’ll Do

• Edit creative video concepts for placement on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and beyond
• Work with the Head of Creative R&D to ensure each creative is edited to the highest potential
• Analyze consumer behavior and optimize the creative based on engagement results
• Partner with Customer Experience to translate social feedback into actionable insights and improve retention
• Collaborate with eCommerce and Marketing to align messaging around promotions, launches, and evergreen campaigns
• Track key KPIs (engagement, growth, content performance) and optimize based on weekly learnings

Who You Are

• Exceptional video editing abilities
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video (vertical and horizontal)
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Experience in color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics
• Strong understanding of video production processes, script structures, and storytelling techniques
• A knack for storytelling/selling, particularly in short-form videos
• Excellent communication skills
• Creative, driven, and excited to learn how to make the best social ads
