The Vice President of Racquet Sports will report to the President and CEO for HEAD North America. This is an ideal position for someone with a deep passion for sports, racquet sports and strong business acumen, who is ready to lead a growing North American business for Global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Leadership
o Develop and implement a comprehensive vision and strategic plan for North America.
o Lead and manage the overall direction of racquet sports product offerings, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
o Work with senior leadership to establish long-term growth and revenue goals.
o Provide strategic oversight for operations, sales, marketing, and communications for the racquet sports division for both the USA and Canada.
o Stay informed on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to keep the organization competitive in the market.
Operations Management
o Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of racquet sports programs.
o Develop and manage the annual sales and advertising budgets for all racquet sports ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
Team Management & Development
o Lead the racquet sports Product, Sales, and Communications Teams.
o Foster a Team environment that includes an inclusive culture coupled with high-performance.
o Provide regular performance evaluations and create development opportunities for Team members.
Marketing & Brand Management
o Work closely with the Marketing Teams to create and execute marketing strategies for both brand, product and sales.
o Build and maintain relationships with local media, sponsors, and community partners to enhance brand visibility.
o Continue to enhance and expand the digital communications strategy across the racquet sports division.
o Focus on the further development and awareness of the performance product families in each division.
Financial & Performance Reporting
o Monitor and manage the financial performance of the racquet sports divisions, ensuring profitability and alignment with organizational goals.
o Provide regular reports and updates to the Executive Teams regarding financial performance in relation to the budgets and targets.
Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in Business (MBA) is a plus.
o 10+ years of experience in the sporting goods industry, with a minimum of 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing sporting goods. Racquet sports management is an asset.
o Proven track record of business and marketing program development and team leadership in a consumer sporting goods environment. Racquet Sports business experience would be an asset.
o Experience managing sales and marketing teams.
o Expertise in the business and financial aspects of management.
o Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Extensive knowledge of sporting goods trends and innovations. Racquet Sports base would be an asset.
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
o Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
o Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Work Environment:
o This is a full-time position, often requiring flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
o This role requires travel up to 35%, both domestically and internationally.
o This position will be based out of our North American Racquet Sports office located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Salary Range: $185k - $205K
