Located in Seattle, SkinnyDipped was founded by a mom, her daughter, and two best friends after realizing that nothing is more important than time spent with the ones you love. Starting out of their kitchen, the four women created SkinnyDipped: thinly dipped chocolate almonds that are exceptionally good-for-you and ridiculously delicious. We are a women-led company driven by the belief that healthy snacking should make both you and your body happy.
Position Description
Were looking for a strategic, consumer-obsessed, and results-driven
VP of Marketing to lead SkinnyDippeds marketing efforts into its next era of growth. This is a key leadership role responsible for setting the vision for the brand, guiding a high-performing team, and building an authentic, lasting relationship between our products and the people who love them.
Youll lead the full marketing functionteam, budget, strategy, and cross-functional initiativeswith a strong emphasis on inspiring and motivating teams, cultivating community, and deeply understanding our consumers mindset. Your ability to translate brand values into marketing strategies that resonate emotionally and culturally will be central to your success.
Key Responsibilities: Brand Strategy & Consumer Connection: - Define and evolve SkinnyDippeds brand vision rooted in deep consumer insight and cultural awareness
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that balance long-term brand equity with near-term performance
- Lead compelling 360 campaigns that spark awareness, drive affinity, and foster brand love
- Ensure consistent, values-driven storytelling across every brand touchpoint
Community, Digital & Influencer Marketing: - Build a dynamic, scalable strategy for digital, social, influencer, and PR channels
- Turn cultural trends into meaningful brand moments that resonate with our audience
- Guide the voice and tone of SkinnyDippeds social presence, ensuring it stays fresh, relevant, and deeply connected to our consumer
- Champion a community-first mindset, cultivating authentic relationships that go beyond transactions
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team across brand, creative, digital, and communications
- Foster a team culture centered on creativity, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Innovation, and Operations to align marketing strategy with business goals
Marketing Operations & Business Impact: - Own the marketing budget ensuring strategic, efficient, and ROI-driven decision-making
- Set KPIs, measure performance rigorously, and continuously optimize for effectiveness
- Roll up your sleeves when neededwhether shaping creative, testing new ideas, or analyzing insights to improve impact
Who You Are - A seasoned brand leader with 10+ years of marketing experience in consumer-facing industries such as beauty, lifestyle, functional wellness, or CPGespecially those that value emotional resonance, brand community, and digital storytelling
- A natural people leader with a proven track record of building, motivating, and retaining strong teams
- Deeply consumer-centric with a passion for building meaningful, lasting brand-consumer relationships
- Strategic and operational: able to see the big picture while also ensuring strong execution and measurable results
- Highly collaborative, with strong cross-functional instincts and communication skills
- Adept at shaping and guiding marketing strategies across social, influencer, content, and PR
- Agile, proactive, and excited to drive growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
