Join a dynamic and growing alternative investment management firm as part of the Business Intelligence team. This role focuses on valuation analysis, portfolio reporting, and delivering analytical support to enhance the firm’s investment capabilities. It also plays a key role in advancing the team's data and analytics infrastructure. The position offers meaningful exposure to senior professionals across the organization and provides a clear path for professional growth into more senior responsibilities.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

Valuation analysis and governance

  • Perform valuation work including valuing private investments, performing positive assurance on third party marks and preparing valuation committee materials

Third Party valuation provider oversight

  • Assist in executing on oversight of third-party valuation providers

Enhance existing valuation process

  • Utilize existing technologies to enhance current valuation process and create scale within the existing function

Performance Reporting and Portfolio Monitoring

  • Collaborate with investment teams to produce quarterly performance reports and maintain updated portfolio company data.
  • Fulfill internal ad hoc performance analysis requests.

Analysis

  • Perform and assist with ad hoc analysis and modeling of the firm’s investment portfolios.
  • Assist in completing monthly/quarterly requests of the firm’s private credit investors.

Organization

  • Develop a strong base of knowledge across all Apogem’s investment strategies.

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, or analytics
  • 4–7 years of experience in valuation, portfolio support, or transaction advisory roles.
  • Background in Private Credit, Private Equity or other Alternative Investment strategies
  • Proven experience working with valuation providers and/or auditors
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Portfolio Monitoring systems (e.g. iLevel, Chronograph, or similar platforms)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
  • Ability to communicate data-driven insights in a concise and accurate manner
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills; must be able to prioritize tasks
  • Strong team orientation with a collaborative communication style and high level of coordination

Pay Transparency

Salary range: $125,000 - $150,000 

Overtime eligible: Exempt 

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes 

Sales bonus eligible: No 

 

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
