Job Description

Position Title : Truck Driver   Pay Rate : $23.66/hr ($.25/hr differential for 2nd shift)   Sign-on Bonus : $500 after 30 days, $500 after 6 months,   Retention Bonus : $500 after 1 year Additional lump sum after 2 years   Category/Shift : Hourly Full-Time, 1st and 2nd shift available (hours vary)   Physical Location : Laurens Container Facility 21313 Hwy 221 N Laurens, SC 29360   The Job You Will Perform: Drives truck to deliver corrugated sheets and boxes Responsible for daily safety inspection of truck Fills out paperwork required by DOT Delivers Bill of Lading to customer, obtains signature and returns to IP Verify delivery information, counts, order number, appearance and notes any shipping damage incurred Hook and unhook from trailer Completes customer delivery and unloading time sheets Picks up pallets or rejected material Issues or obtains customer signature on the receipt for pickup or delivery Cleans inside of truck and performs routine maintenance on truck   The Skills You Will Bring: ~ Must have CDL Class A and 2 years of over the road experience ~10 year safe driving record   The Benefits You Will Enjoy: International Paper offers a benefits package that includes health, welfare and retirement plans including Medical, Dental, Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Short-term Disability, 401(k) and/or Pension (where applicable), Paid Time Off, Education & Development (including Tuition Reimbursement), and Voluntary Benefits including insurance for home, auto, vision and pets.    The Career You Will Build: Leadership training, promotional opportunities   The Impact You Will Make: We continue to build a better future for people, the planet, and our company!
