Job Details

• Surgical Technologist prepares the Operating Room prior to surgery.
• Promotes the safety of the patient during surgery.
• Provides assistance to the surgeon during surgery.
• Cares for the patient during surgery and cares for the instruments and supplies used in surgery.
• Functions to promote the safety of the patient as a member of the surgical team.
• Possesses knowledge and skills required to assist in effectively caring for patients of all age groups (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).

Job Requirements

• Minimum two years of pediatric scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Looking for strong skills in Eyes, Urology, Neuro and Ortho.

Schedule Information

• Monday through Friday 1000 to 1830 with weeknight, weekend, and holiday on-call expectations.

Unit Specific Information

• Check Unit Description to determine certifications required.

Additional Details

• Required per Vaya standard.
• Current/valid Drivers License required if driving is requirement of the position.
• Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions.
