  Job Summary/Description:

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems and activities.
• Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products. 
• Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to contribute quality assurance requirements and considerations. 
• Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data.

Minimum Required Skills:

• This position is responsible for taking care of customized transcription requests as assigned. This includes the following: Media that is already in an online course and credentials are needed to access the content Media that cannot be uploaded into a software that uses a foot pedal for controlling the video playback for transcription Other specialized media situations 
• Candidate must have experience with transcription of audio and video files.
• Candidate must understand the difference between verbatim, verbatim edited, and edited language
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; namely, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Have working knowledge of HTML coding (to create end deliverable in HTML) 
• Knowledge and understanding of APA editorial style
• Familiarity of language and spelling in medical, financial, and legal or access to resources so that spoken words in media are correctly spelled in the transcript 
• Be available via email, project management software, or virtual meeting to collaborate with content team for custom partner requirements. Ability to meet deadlines

Additional Job Details:

• Experience and proficiency with Adobe Dreamweaver is helpful.
• Copyediting experience: may help out with copyediting assignments
• Experience with quality assurance checks or online education: may help out with front-end quality assurance checks
