Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Our client, a top-tier Boston based private equity firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with tax compliance process for all funds
2. Review of draft and final K-1s
3. Provide quarterly financial information to tax service provider
4. Review calculations of quarterly taxable estimates
5. Review federal and state extensions and returns
6. Review taxable income calculations and workpapers from tax service provider
7. Act as point of contact with tax service provider and manage communications
8. Assist Tax Director with transaction and structuring decisions
9. Develop deep understanding of our private equity, credit, and technology fund structures
10. Prepare intermediary financial statement information
11. Respond to limited partner tax questions and requests
12. Assist with maintaining partner information
13. Manage tax information process on investor portal
14. Assist with flow of information between tax and accounting teams

Qualifications:

1. 4-7 years prior tax experience either within the financial services industry or public accounting experience specializing in private equity clients
2. Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
5. Put an emphasis on attention to detail
