Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Switch Tester with extensive experience in Connex Switch hosted on Tandem systems . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of payment processing, transaction simulations, and switch log analysis , along with expertise in ISO8583 messaging standards .

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing on Connex Switch within a Tandem system environment.
• Utilize Connex Environment Database (CED) for screen navigation, configuring ports, BINS, processors, and interceptors.
• Analyze switch logs using AUDTSCAN and LOGSCAN utilities on Tandem.
• Validate Acquirer and Issuer processes, ensuring seamless transaction processing.
• Work with various message formats including Visa, MasterCard, NYCE, STAR, EPOC, AFFN, PULSE, etc.
• Conduct transaction simulations using Paragon Simulator , configuring test scripts for ATM, POS, EMV Contact & Contactless, and Magstripe transactions .
• Ensure compliance with ISO8583 message standards and troubleshoot transaction discrepancies.
• Collaborate within an Agile framework , contributing to project sprints and ensuring timely delivery.
• Successfully deliver at least one project within an Agile methodology .

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Connex Switch on Tandem systems .
• Expertise in CED, screen navigation, port configuration, and switch processing .
• Proficiency in AUDTSCAN and LOGSCAN for switch log analysis.
• Deep understanding of Acquirer and Issuer concepts.
• Hands-on experience in Paragon Simulator for transaction testing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO8583 message formats and multiple payment networks.
• Familiarity with ATM, POS, EMV transactions, and payment processing workflows .
• Experience working in an Agile environment , with at least one successfully delivered Agile project.
