Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a deep understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and procurement. This role requires a combination of analytical expertise, operational excellence, and excellent interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business goals. Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Implement supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demand Forecasting: Utilize forecasting tools and techniques to predict customer demand and optimize inventory levels. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align supply with demand fluctuations.
  • Inventory Management: Implement inventory control policies to minimize excess stock while ensuring product availability. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and optimize reorder points.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate transportation, distribution, and logistics activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. Evaluate and optimize transportation routes and carriers to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements. Utilize lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions, and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize supply chain performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export processes.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
