We’re looking for an intern/volunteer to help us start a TikTok and YouTube channel that gives real, unfiltered advice to people facing prison time. The content will feature current and former prisoners offering insights, warnings, and survival strategies — in their own words.
This is a volunteer unpaid internship but we'll be able to offer a small stipend after 2 months of working with us.

PrisonWriters.com is a nonprofit that publishes stories written by incarcerated people. Since 2015, we've helped thousands of writers behind bars share their voices and expose the realities of prison life. Now, we're taking that storytelling to a new platform — short-form video.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🎬 Helping launch our TikTok and YouTube presence from the ground up
📹 Brainstorming and creating content — from scripting and editing to posting and strategy
🧠 Bringing your vision: This is a collaborative, highly creative role with lots of room to experiment
🎯 Designing content that is engaging , shareable , and authentic — with real impact
📈 Helping us grow a following and build a visual identity that aligns with our mission
