Bateman Water Heating Engineering, Inc. , We are a specialty trade contracting company seeking an Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in learning about commercial hot water equipment. Responsibilities will include tasks related to plumbing, electrical work, welding, sheet metal, pressure vessels, motors, pumps, renewable energy, technical drawings, and physics. You will work alongside a dynamic and passionate team. This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and acquire new skills in a specialized field.

Job summaries below are not limited to the following

• Performing shop and office maintenance duties
• Assist with prefabrication work
• Assist with job site work
• Will calls and deliveries

Responsibilities below are not limited to the following:

• Being on time.
• Making sure rules and procedures are followed
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license without moving violations
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to learn
• Good moral character
• An understanding of hand tools and having experience in their proper use.

• The starting pay range is 23.75 to 25.00 US dollars per hour

• Bateman Water Heating Apprenticeship Program: This is a great way to learn the specialized trade of commercial hot water equipment. Apprentices work under the supervision of a more experienced team member and learn the trade skills through hands-on experience. The apprenticeship program also includes classroom instruction. Specific requirements have to be met before starting the apprenticeship program. The apprenticeship program starts the path to becoming a Bateman Commercial Hot Water Equipment Field Specialist.
