About the Job: The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and adjustment of all Health System heating and cooling equipment, including pumps, air conditioners, heat exchangers, condensing and air handling units.
What You'll Do: - Installs, maintains, repairs, and adjusts all Health System heating and cooling equipment, including pumps, air conditioners, heat exchangers, condensing and air handling units
- Conducts maintenance and testing of assigned HVAC/Refrigeration equipment.
- Maintains chemical treatment levels in the various hydronic heating, cooling systems and cooling towers.
- Calibrates controls, thermostats, and controllers.
- Maintains certification for state and local trade.
Who You Are: - High school, vocational technical school diploma or equivalent required
- Refrigerant Recovery Gas Fitters License preferred
- Three to five years of journey level HVAC and refrigeration installation and service are required.
