About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President & General Manager for its Radio division. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing the business plan for the radio stations, with a strong focus on creating quality content and programming. This role involves leading a large department, including sales, programming, production, promotion, marketing, and engineering, to ensure the success of the radio ventures. The General Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the broadcast facilities and transmitter sites, overseeing the budget, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. Applicants must have a BS/BA degree in a related field or a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in broadcast media, radio, or programming, and 7 years at a director level. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in business planning, budget forecasting, and a deep understanding of the radio industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in radio station management, sales, and professional broadcasting. Key competencies include the ability to maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professionalism, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The role also demands the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing environments, as well as the willingness to travel for business purposes.
