***This is a hybrid remote position with work from home schedule on Mondays and Fridays***
We are looking for a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager with at least 5 years of Public Accounting experience. A general focus is fine, but some preferred areas would be Real Estate, Manufacturing, and/or Construction.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Tax Manager, you will:
1. Lead and manage the tax department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all tax-related matters.
2. Lead multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax preparation, research, planning and consulting services for a variety of clients
3. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
4. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
5. Coach and mentor other team members.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree is highly desirable.
2. Active CPA is required. JD degree is a plus.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager role within public accounting.
4. Background in Real Estate, Manufacturing, and/or Construction will be a bonus.
5. SALT experience is a bonus.
6. Experienced with Partnerships is important.
7. Ability to coach and mentor other team members.
