Senior Satellite Communications Engineer

Working for a World-class Satellite Systems design Company. Engineering support services, testing, troubleshooting and analysis: Work with peers to drive new innovative Satellite Communications Hardware Solutions.
Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor New Satellite systems.
• Engineering support to customers, sales and operations.
• Testing, Satellite Ground Station Design, troubleshooting and documenting solutions.
• Troubleshoot fabrication challenges, with electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Comply with government regulations and standards.
• Best engineering practices.
• Stay up to date on current Satellite Networks and New Satellite Hardware trends.
• Utilize Electrical and Mechanical Engineering enhancements to improvement our
Satellite Hardware Systems.
• Travel will be required as needed, domestic and international.
• Provide product training to fellow employees and customers.
Qualifications
• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or ABET-accredited program.
• Keen RF Knowledge and Satellite Communications aptitude is a plus.
• TCP/IP, routing and switching.
• AutoCAD, Draftsight, Visio, and Solidworks PDM a plus.
• Written, oral communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance upon hire.
• Previous Experience working in the engineering Military Satcom equipment a Plus.
Financials: $125K -150K Base + Bonus
