As a Senior Pharmacy Technician , you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive pharmacy services that range from routine tasks to advanced functions.

Your Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, you will:

• Manage Controlled Substances: Ensure safe handling and distribution.
• Compounding Chemotherapy: Prepare medications with precision and care.
• Utilize Advanced Technology: Engage with unit dose dispensing and satellite pharmacy assignments.
• Conduct Medication Histories: Gather and document patient medication information.
• Train and Mentor: Assist in training new employees, residents, and interns.
• Collaborate: Work closely with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; two years of college preferred.
• Experience: At least two years as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • LPHT - Licensed Pharmacy Tech or
  • RPI - Registered Pharmacy Intern and
  • IV Certification (if applicable) within 90 days.
• Skills: Strong communication, proficiency in calculations, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
