Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will lead the sales team in developing and executing strategies that drive revenue growth, customer retention, and high-performance results. This role involves structuring sales processes, coaching and motivating the team, and fostering innovation to support business development for both the organization and its partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee the Field and Inside Sales teams, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Sales Growth: Develop value propositions and creative sales approaches to build new business, support existing clients, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Training & Coaching: Facilitate regular coaching sessions, sales training, and development of best practices. Encourage continuous learning within the team.
  • Process & Efficiency: Streamline sales operations, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality sales documentation.
  • Customer Relationships: Collaborate with departments to enhance customer experience and manage escalated client issues with professionalism.
  • Sales Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as calls, quotes, and orders to measure success and drive performance improvements.
  • Revenue & Profit: Achieve budgeted sales, gross profit margins, and ensure the team’s efforts align with company financial goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year accredited university or college.
  • 3 - 10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • 2 years of leadership experience, ideally managing sales teams in an Industrial B2B environment.
  • Experience in Industrial B2B sales.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  • Hunter mentality.

Work Environment:

This role involves working in diverse environments, including office settings, client sites (such as manufacturing and warehouses), and sometimes hazardous conditions. Safety protocols are essential when interacting with equipment and chemicals.

Physical Demands:

The role requires prolonged standing, walking, and occasionally stooping or climbing. Ability to maintain focus during long work hours is crucial.
