Kaseya is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Miami, FL. As a key member of the Sales Team, you will leverage your technical expertise to design and deliver engaging presentations on the Kaseya suite of products. This pre-sales role allows you to transform your product knowledge into new business opportunities while driving revenue growth. You will work primarily through virtual communication tools like Zoom, Teams, and Kaseya Technology, with occasional travel to client meetings, industry events, and company functions across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Presentations: Design, prepare, and deliver technical presentations that address client business challenges and demonstrate the value of Kaseya’s solutions to achieve a successful Tech Win.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Partner with Sales Executives to educate prospective customers and partners about Kaseya’s products and the IT Complete Platform, including presentations, technical evaluations, technical objection handling, proposals, and follow-up on customer issues.
  • Driving Sales: Take ownership of the pre-sales technical process to create revenue-generating opportunities, promote Kaseya’s technology, and drive new products and services for customers.
  • Proof of Concept (POC): Administer and collect technical inputs for product Proof of Concepts (POC), and prepare presentations to validate the solution’s effectiveness.
  • Proposal Development: Engage in the development of customer proposals, including technical responses to RFI and RFP documents, ensuring clear and concise articulation of technical expertise and recommendations.
  • Product Feedback: Work closely with Product Management and cross-functional teams to provide valuable feedback from the field to help shape future product direction and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: A background in technology or business applications related to Asset Management, billing & invoicing, remote monitoring and access, automation applications, and CRM tools.
  • Pre-Sales Experience: Proven ability to demonstrate products and articulate their value, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar pre-sales or technical sales role.
  • Endpoint Management/RMM Experience: Experience with tools like Datto or similar platforms is highly regarded. Familiarity with other Endpoint Management that simplify IT operations by offering comprehensive oversight of endpoints, networks, and cloud services is a plus.
  • MSP Knowledge: Strong understanding of Managed Service Provider (MSP) business models, including break/fix and managed services.
  • System Administration: Experience with Windows management processes, preferably as a System Admin. Familiarity with MAC and Linux operating systems is a bonus.
  • Networking Knowledge: Understanding of networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, DNS, VPNs, SaaS, as well as familiarity with network/SaaS solutions like Backup, DR, M365, AV, EDR, and Patching.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to a wide range of audiences, from end users to executive decision-makers.
  • Sales Acumen: A strong understanding of business or sales processes is preferred, along with the ability to manage customer engagements, keep clear agendas, and drive outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving and Enthusiasm: A passion for learning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement, with the ability to remain patient and positive under pressure.
  • Independent & Collaborative: Able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Languages: Must have ability to speak Portuguese and English to a fluent level.

Additional Skills & Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Operating System, with an understanding of other operating systems.
  • Ability to lead technical conversations and effectively manage customer relationships, both remotely and in-person.
