Job Description

The base salary range for this position is $70k - $80k.

Our Safety & Security Manager will assist in leading the day-to-day operations of the Security Department and is responsible for rendering aid to guests and team members relating to their safety and security. He or she will act in absence of the Director of Security and provide direction, guidance and coaching to the officers. Necessary skills include working knowledge of computerized systems, proficiency in oral and written communications, professionalism and warmth. Previous leadership experience in a similar setting is required.

  • Administrative functions including training, discipline, scheduling, payroll and budgeting of the department.
  • Assign work related assignments/tasks to Security Personnel.
  • Oversees report completion and follow-ups and done in a timely fashion.
  • Oversees Security’s Lost and Found Program.
  • Participate in management training sessions, communication and planning meetings.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate safety conditions and hazards.
  • Provide support to Director of Safety & Security and perform other duties as required. 

Qualifications

  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High school graduate required. College education preferred.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience in a significant leadership role. Prior hospitality and security experience preferred. CPP (Certified Protection Professional), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), and/or CLSD (Certified Lodging Security Director) accreditation is preferred.
  • A current Guard Card is required.
